Retrofitting of pv systems to solve 50.2 hz problem planned

A joint initiative of grid operators and the solar industry is recommending that the Federal Government take measures to ensure supply security in the German and European power grid. According to a scientific study, a retrofitting of some solar power systems is necessary to solve the so-called 50.2-hertz problem. This measure is a response to the increasing role of solar power and the other renewable energy sources in the power supply of the future. Download the press release for more details.
